A bunch of troopers went to Cedar Rapids to help out for a week June 15th-20th. Here are some pics Tom took while working in the area.
Anyone lose their pantoon boat?
Streets were lined with everything you could imagine, as everyone started "gutting" out their homes. So sad.

Father's Day weekend with the family....

Grandma Karen, Grandpa Mark, and Aunt EJ came to visit over Father's Day. Lydia waited up for them to arrive Friday night until 10:15pm.

We went to Walnut, Iowa on Saturday to Antique Walk Days. Grandpa Mark even talked a cowboy into giving Lydia her first horse back ride.

A Day at the Omaha Zoo!

We took Lydia to the zoo for the first time! She had a great time seeing all of the animals and of course having ice cream! Grandma Marcia came with us and so did cousin Lexi. At the end of the day, Lydia was sleeping soundly in her stroller! Lucky....

Just a quick smile....this is where Lydia loves to stand and throw off my little decorations, and move the glass top..... this is where Lydia learned the word " NONO"!

Walking & Working

This is Lydia learning to walk the first week of June...lots of falls but she has since got the hang out it... Lydia playing with the puppy waiting for mom to take her to the pool!

Tom has been a busy bee working on re-building our retaining wall. He tore out the old and started building from ground up. This has been his spring project....

Mother's Day!

This is Mother's Day....Lydia tried out her new pool from Easter, and decided it wasn't big enough. So....she crawled right out. We grilled out and spent the day outside enjoying the beautiful day. And yes, there is water in the pool!
